Use the Cash Flow Forecast submodule under the General Ledger module to create cash flow forecasts.
To perform this procedure, you must have access to
Finance & Administration as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under
Settings.
To create a cash flow forecast:

On the main toolbar, click
Finance & Administration
.

In the left pane of the Finance & Administration screen, click

If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Finance & Administration screen to select the company for which you want to create a cash flow forecast.

At the top of the Cash flow forecast grid, click
, and click
New cash flow on the drop-down menu.

In the New Cash Flow dialog box, enter a description and then, in the
Opening Balance field, enter the opening balance, including cash and accumulated bank balances.

In the
Date Type field, specify a weekly or monthly forecast.

In the
Report Date list, select the date on which WorkBook will generate the report.

In the
Start Date field, specify the start date for the cash flow forecast.

To include billing plans that are past their due dates but are yet to be invoiced, select
Include old not invoiced billing plans.
By default, WorkBook excludes such billing plans in cash flow forecasts.

Click
OK.
WorkBook displays the new cash flow forecast in the grid.
