System Variable 37: Automatically Correct File Names

Use this System Variable to set whether WorkBook should automatically correct file names that contain invalid characters.

If this System Variable is enabled, WorkBook automatically removes invalid characters from a file name.

Invalid characters include:

• * (Asterisk)
• | (Vertical bar)
• / (Slash)
• : (Colon)
• = (Equal sign)
• @ (At sign)

You enable this setting by selecting its check box.

This setting is disabled by default.
