Add Entries to Debtor or Creditor Communication Logs
Use the Communication Log tab in the Debtor List or Creditor List to record debtor or creditor communication history, including email messages and phone calls.
To use Debtor List in the Debtors submodule, you must have access to Finance & Administration as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.
To use Creditor List in the Creditors submodule, you must have access to Finance & Administration as defined in Employee Cross-Company Access under Settings.
Tip: You can also update the debtor communication log in the Communication Log tab of the Debtor Information Sidebar.
To add an entry to a debtor or creditor communication log:

On the main toolbar, click
Finance & Administration
.
- If you have more than one Company in your WorkBook system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Finance & Administration page to select the Company for which you want to add debtor or creditor communication log entries.

Take one of the following actions in the left pane of the Finance & Administration page:
- Select .
- Select .
- On the List tab, select the debtor or creditor for which you want to add a communication log entry.

On the Communication Log tab
, click
Add New Row
on the grid toolbar.
- Double-click a column to edit the column entry.
- If the communication has been completed, select the check box in the Done column.
