Delete Entries from Debtor or Creditor Communication Logs

Use the Communication Log in the Debtor List or Creditor List to delete communication log entries.

To use Debtor List in the Debtors submodule, you must have access to Finance & Administration as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To use Creditor List in the Creditors submodule, you must have access to Finance & Administration as defined in Employee Cross-Company Access under Settings.

Be sure to delete only the communication log entries that you no longer need.

To delete an entry from a debtor or creditor communication log:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Finance & Administration .
  2. If you have more than one Company in your WorkBook system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Finance & Administration page to select the Company from which you want to delete debtor or creditor communication log entries.
  3. Take one of the following actions in the left pane of the Finance & Administration page:
    • Select Debtors > Debtor List.
    • Select Creditors > Creditor List.
  4. On the List tab, select the debtor or creditor that is connected with the communication log entry that you want to delete.
  5. On the Communication Log tab, select the entry that you want to delete and click Delete Selected Row on the grid toolbar.
    Note: There is no confirmation dialog box for this action. WorkBook deletes the communication log entry immediately.
