Creditor List
The Creditor List submodule enables you to add and remove creditors from the system, view transactions, invoice vouchers, and check archives for each creditor, put voucher payments on hold, and perform eliminations and remainder handling. You can also use this submodule to view email communication and change logs about creditors, and to create communication logs.
To use the Creditor List submodule, you must have access to Finance & Administration as defined in the Employee Cross-company Access submodule under Settings.
The Creditor List submodule consists of the following tabs:
- List - This tab displays general information about creditors, such as creditor name, balance, due amount, contact person, posting group, and email. You also add and delete creditors on this tab.
- Transactions - This tab displays the transactions for the creditor selected on the List tab. You also approve and hold payments to creditors on this tab.
- Creditor Invoice Voucher - Use this tab to withhold or approve payments for selected vouchers.
- Elimination - This tab enables you to settle related invoices and payments and clear pending eliminations if you do not need to settle transaction items. You can also allow WorkBook to auto-suggest and auto-match invoices and payments.
- Remainder Handling - Use this tab to apply residual cost codes against invoices with remainder amounts, such as currency differences or rounding.
- Cheque Archive - Use this tab to display information about the checks used in creditor transactions.
- Emails - This tab displays the creditor email communications. You can delete, move, and reply to emails on this tab.
- Communication Log - This tab enables you to create and delete communications between you and the creditors, including email messages and phone calls.
- Change Log - This tab displays a log of table changes and change requests.
