Use the Project Posting submodule to view posting suggestion summaries that show an overview of how journal entries will appear in the general ledger before you post them. The information displayed include the account type, account number, account name, debit amount, credit amount, and total amount.
To perform this procedure, you must have access to
Finance & Administration as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under
Settings.
To view posting suggestion summaries:

On the main toolbar, click
Finance & Administration
.

In the left pane of the Finance & Administration screen, click
.

If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list
above the left pane to select the company for which you want to view posting suggestion summaries.

In the top grid, select the appropriate journal type.

In the
Include up to this date field, enter a cut-off date.
In the bottom grid, WorkBook displays the entries for the journal type that were posted up to the cut-off date.

In the bottom grid, click the
Suggestion summaries icon
. The icon name depends on the journal type that you selected in the top grid.

On the toolbar of the bottom grid, click
Show posting suggestions summary
.
WorkBook displays the posting suggestion summary for each account in the bottom grid.

To find a specific entry, enter a search string in the
Search in grid field.
