In WorkBook, the booking date refers to the date when you actually booked a journal entry for posting in the relevant accounting period. As such, the booking date may not be the same as the posting date. - Reset Running or Stuck Project Postings
Use the Project Posting submodule to reset running or stuck project postings. This is useful in cases when the system is having problems processing an unusually large numbers of journal entries. After resetting a stuck project posting, you can post the entries in batches to avoid overloading the system. - Edit the Posting Date of Journal Entries before Booking
Use the Project Posting submodule to change the posting date of journal entries that were posted within a given period before you book them, except for work-in-progress (WIP) and job closure entries. For example, if you created several creditor invoices within a given period with a posting date of October 1, 2018, and it took three days for those invoices to be processed and attain a status of 50 (Ready for booking), you can use this procedure to change the posting date of the invoices to October 4, 2018. - Use the Entry Dates as Posting Dates for Journal Entries
Use the Project Posting submodule to specify the journal entries' entry dates as their posting dates, except for work-in-progress (WIP) entries. - View Posting Suggestions
Use the Project Posting submodule to view posting suggestions that show you how the journal entries will appear in the general ledger before you post them. Depending on the entry type that you selected in the top grid of the Project Posting submodule, the information displayed could include the post date, voucher date, entry date, account type, account number, account description, amount, job name, and creditor name (for vouchers). - View Posting Suggestion Summaries
Use the Project Posting submodule to view posting suggestion summaries that show an overview of how journal entries will appear in the general ledger before you post them. The information displayed include the account type, account number, account name, debit amount, credit amount, and total amount. - Search for an Open Journal Entry
Use the Project Posting submodule to find open journal entries that must be closed before you can book them. You cannot close open entries in Project Posting. To do this, you must go to the appropriate WorkBook module or submodule and close the open entries there. For example, to close open creditor voucher entries, go to the Creditor Invoices submodule.
