Copy Price Quote Billing Plans to Invoices in Job Conversations

Use the Job settings option under the Monthly WIP adjustments follow-up submodule to copy price quote billing plans to invoices in job conversations.

To use the Monthly WIP Adjustments Follow-up submodule, you must have access to Finance & Administration as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To copy a price quote billing plan to an invoice in a job conversation:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Finance & Administration .
  2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Finance & Administration screen to select the company containing the job conversation of the invoice that you want to copy a price quote to.
  3. In the left pane of the Finance & Administration screen, click Month-end > Monthly WIP adjustments follow-up.
  4. Highlight the job of the conversation with the invoice that you want to copy a price quote billing plan to and on the grid toolbar, click Job settings .
  5. Click the Chat tab and on the toolbar of the left pane, select Invoice from the category drop-down list.
  6. Highlight the conversation with the invoice that you want to copy a price quote billing plan to.
  7. On the toolbar of the right pane, click and select Copy price quote billing plan to invoice.
  8. In the Copy price quote billing plan to invoice dialog box, select the billing plan and billing plan line that you want to copy and identify the text to invoice line and activity for billing plan line.
  9. Click OK.
