Deactivating or Transferring Employees who have Open, Missing, or Incomplete Timesheets: Guidelines
Note the following information when deactivating or transferring employees who have open, missing, or incomplete timesheets.
Note: This information applies to employees who are required to submit timesheets in WorkBook.
- You must select the option
User Must Enter Timesheet in
for the employee who you want to deactivate or transfer.

- You must run timesheet validations only for posting periods that are open or active, specifically the posting periods for which the
Allow Time Entry option is selected.

- You cannot deactivate or transfer an employee who has missing timesheet entries.
- You cannot deactivate or transfer an employee who has open timesheet entries in Status-10 - Under Preparation and Status-20 - Pending Approval.
- You cannot deactivate or transfer an employee who has incomplete timesheet entries that are at less than the employee's total capacity.
