Add New HMRC VAT Return Approver Roles

Use the HMRC VAT Return Approval submodule to add new HMRC VAT return approver roles.

To use HMRC VAT Return Approval in the Approval submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To add a new HMRC VAT return approver role:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings screen to select the company to which you want to add a new HMRC VAT return approver role.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings screen, click Company Approvals > HMRC VAT Return Approval.
  4. On the grid toolbar, click Add Role .
  5. In the Add Role dialog box, use the drop-down list to select the role that you want to add as a HMRC VAT return approver and click OK.
  6. You can edit the Priority and Employee fields by double-clicking on the corresponding field.
    Note: The Employee field is not editable for all HMRC VAT return approver roles.
