Export Access Roles

Use User Access Rights in the Advanced Tools submodule in the Settings module to export access roles.

To use User Access Rights in the Advanced Tools submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To export an access role:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one Company in your WorkBook system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings page to select the Company that contains the access role that you want to export.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings page, click Advanced Tools > User Access Rights.
  4. Click the User Access Setup tab.
  5. Use the drop-down list to select the access role that you want to export and click Exported Selected Access Role .
  6. In the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
  7. In the Information dialog box, copy the identification key of the access role that you exported to the clipboard and click OK.
