Save a Task Check List Template as a New Template

Use the Tasks submodule to save a task check list template as a new template.

To use Tasks, you must have access to Jobs as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To save a task check list template as a new template:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Jobs .
  2. On the side toolbar of the Jobs screen, click Jobs List and select the job containing the task check list template that you want to save as a new template.
  3. On the side toolbar of the Jobs screen, click Tasks.
  4. On the Tasks screen, click the Task tab.
  5. In the grid, highlight the task containing the check list template that you want to save as a new template and click Task Settings on the tab toolbar.
  6. On the side toolbar of the task card, click Checklist .
  7. On the top toolbar of the task card, click and select Create from the drop-down menu.
  8. In the Create Checklist dialog box, enter the name of the new check list.
  9. Use the Template field to select the template that you want to save as a new template.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Make the necessary changes to the new check list as needed.
  12. To add the new check list as a template, click Add Checklist as a Template on the top toolbar of the task card.
