Holidays and Absence

Use Holidays and Absence in the Company Settings submodule in the Settings module to configure and manage holiday calendars, holidays, vacation year records, and absence codes. You can add and remove holidays, holiday calendars, and vacation year records. You can also recalculate the capacity calendar and add, delete, and approve absence codes.

To use Holidays and Absence in the Company Settings submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

Holidays and Absence provides the following tabs:

  • Holiday Calendars: Enables you to add, remove, and rename country-specific holiday calendars, recalculate the capacity calendar, and add and remove holidays.
  • Vacation Year: Enables you to add, remove, and lock vacation year records (maximum allowed leave days and number of vacation days).
  • Absence Codes: Enables you to add, delete, block, and approve absence codes. You can also add and remove resources from the Apply Notification to a Third Person tab and from the Limit Absence Codes to Resources tab.
