System Variable 169: Time Entry Description Required Is Set as Default on New Tasks in the Schedule

Use this System Variable to determine if time entry descriptions should be enabled for new tasks.

When this System Variable is enabled, descriptions are required all the time entries for new tasks. You can enable or disable this setting for the individual task in Task Card > Basic Settings. You can also set descriptions as required on the job in Jobs > Job Properties Sidebar. If descriptions are required on a particular job, then it is also required on the tasks on that job, regardless of this setting.

This System Variable is enabled by default.

It may be necessary to perform a refresh when modifying System Variable values.
