Add New VAT Activity Codes

Use the VAT Settings submodule to add new VAT activity codes.

To use the VAT Settings submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To add a new VAT activity code:

1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings screen to select the company to which you want to add a new VAT activity code.
3. In the left pane of the Settings screen, click Finance > VAT Settings.
4. Click the VAT Activity Codes tab and on the grid toolbar, click Add VAT Activity Code .
5. You can edit the different fields by double-clicking on the corresponding field.
6. If you want to enable manual correction for the VAT activity code, unselect the code that is currently enabled for manual correction and then select the Manual Correction check box.
