Merge Standard Material Types

Use the Material Types submodule to merge standard material types.

To use Material Types in the Price Lists & Activities submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To merge standard material types:

1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings screen to select the company containing the standard material types that you want to merge.
3. In the left pane of the Settings screen, click Price Lists & Activities > Material Types.
4. Click the Standard Material List tab and click Merge material into other material .
5. In the Merge Material Types dialog box, use the drop-down lists to select the material type that you want to delete and the material type that you want to replace the deleted type with.
6. Click OK.
