System Variable 1176: Max Number of Time Entries to be Posted per Batch

Use this System Variable to determine how many project posting time entries each journal should process at a time.

Large companies can have several time entries to post at any given time. Each time entry results in at least two lines in a journal and the number of lines can increase and possibly lead to timeouts when trying to post time entries through project postings. This System Variable can help address this issue by allowing time entries to be posted in batches. An unlimited number of time entries can always be posted but they are posted over multiple journals if they exceed the limit.

The default value for this System Variable is 1000.

It may be necessary to perform a refresh when modifying System Variable values.
