Use the CRM Activities for Follow-up submodule to add the next activity to pipeline activities. This function allows you to mark the first activity as done.
To use the CRM Activities for Follow-up submodule, you must have access to
Tasks as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under
Settings.
To add the next activity to a pipeline activity:

On the main toolbar, click
Tasks
.

In the left pane of the Tasks screen, click
.

Highlight the pipeline activity that you want to add a next activity to.

On the grid toolbar, click
Add next activity
.

In the Add Next Pipeline Activity dialog box, select the resource to which you want to add the new pipeline activity, and specify the applicable contact, activity type, date and time, employee responsible, company, and pipeline.
Note: You can also enter an activity text in the provided field.

If you want to set the previous activity and the current activity as done, select the
Set previous activity as done and
Set current activity as done check boxes, as applicable.

Click
OK.
