Set Up a Resource Folder

Use Storage and Folders in the Folders, Reports, & Documents submodule in the Settings module to set up resource folders. After you set them up, you can use resource folders to store documents that are related to clients, vendors, and other resource types.

To use Storage and Folders, you must have access to Settings as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

Before you can set up a resource folder, you must first set up and configure a storage provider. For instructions, see Set Up a Storage Provider.
Note: You can also use the folder path that you use for job folder setup on resource folder setup.

To set up a resource folder:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one Company in your WorkBook system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings page to select the Company for which you want to set up a resource folder.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings page, click Folders, Reports, & Documents > Storage and Folders.
  4. Click the Resource Folder Setup tab.
  5. On the grid toolbar, click Add Entry .
    WorkBook displays the resource folder in the grid.
  6. Double-click the specific cell to specify or select values for the following:
    • Resource Type
    • Folder Path
    • Storage Provider
    • Subfolder Structure Path
    • Display Folder Path
