Set Up a Storage Provider

Use Storage and Folders in the Folders, Reports, & Documents submodule in the Settings module to set up storage providers.

To use Storage and Folders, you must have access to Settings as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To set up a storage provider:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one Company in your WorkBook system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings page to select the Company for which you want to set up a storage provider.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings page, click Folders, Reports, & Documents > Storage and Folders.
  4. Click the Storage provider tab.
  5. On the grid toolbar, click Add Entry , select a storage provider class from the list, and click OK.
    Note: Additional setup may be required in the subgrid.
  6. To enable the storage provider setup, select the Enabled check box.
You can now select the storage provider that you set up as one of the options when you set up and configure resource folders. For instructions, see Set Up a Resource Folder.
