Copy Access Rights from Access Roles

Use the User Access Rights submodule to copy access rights from selected access roles.

To use the User Access Rights submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To copy access rights from an access role:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings screen to select the company containing the access role that you want to copy access rights from.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings screen, click Advanced Tools > User Access Rights.
  4. Click the User Access Setup tab.
  5. Use the drop-down list to select the access role that you want to copy access rights to and click Copy Access Rights from Access Role .
  6. In the Copy Access Rights from Access Role dialog box, use the drop-down list to select the access role that you want to copy access rights from.
  7. If you want to copy overrides or requests, select the Copy Overrides and Copy Requests check boxes, as applicable.
  8. Click OK.
