Copy Access Rights from Access Roles

Use User Access Rights in the Advanced Tools submodule in the Settings module to copy access rights from selected access roles.

To use User Access Rights in the Advanced Tools submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To copy access rights from an access role:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one Company in your WorkBook system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings page to select the Company that contains the access role from which you want to copy access rights.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings page, click Advanced Tools > User Access Rights.
  4. Click the User Access Setup tab.
  5. Use the drop-down list to select the access role to which you want to copy access rights, and click Copy Access Rights from Access Role .
  6. In the Copy Access Rights from Access Role dialog box, use the drop-down list to select the access role from which you want to copy access rights.
  7. To copy overrides or requests, select the Copy Overrides and Copy Requests check boxes, as appropriate.
  8. Click OK.
