Create Task Progress Statuses

Use the Task Progress Status submodule to create task progress statuses.

To use Task Progress Status in the Projects & Jobs submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To create a task progress status:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one Company in your WorkBook system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings page to select the Company for which you want to create a task progress status.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings page, click Projects & Jobs > Task Progress Status.
  4. On the grid toolbar, click Create a New Status .
  5. Enter a name for the task progress status in the Name column.
  6. Double-click in the Icon Color column to choose a color for an icon, if you want to use an icon for the task progress status.
    WorkBook displays the standard color choice display that users are familiar with.
  7. Double-click in the Icon column to choose an icon from the drop-down list, if you want to use an icon for the task progress status.
    If you choose an icon and an icon color, WorkBook displays the results in the Preview column.
  8. You can edit a field by double-clicking on it and providing the applicable information.
