Import Access Roles

Use User Access Rights in the Advanced Tools submodule in the Settings module to import access roles.

To use User Access Rights in the Advanced Tools submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To import an access role:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one Company in your WorkBook system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings page to select the Company for which you want to import an access role.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings page, click Advanced Tools > User Access Rights.
  4. Click the User Access Setup tab and click Import an Access Role .
  5. In the Import Access Role dialog box, enter or paste the identification key of the access role that you want to import, which you copied to the clipboard.
  6. To replace an existing access role, select the Replace Existing Access Role check box and use the Access Role to Replace drop-down list to select the access role that you want to replace.
  7. Click OK.
  8. In the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
