System Variable 879: Microsoft Exchange Version

Use this System Variable to specify the default Microsoft Exchange Server version used in calendar synchronization. You can have different server values for calendar synchronization if you use different email systems.

The default Microsoft Exchange Server version is displayed in Time & Expense > Personal Information > My Settings > Calendar Synchronization Settings .

Users who have Administrator access rights can manually change this setting for individual employees in Settings > Advanced Tools > Calendar Sync.

A user can manually change this setting for their account by clicking their avatar in the upper-right end of the main toolbar and selecting My Settings > Calendar Synchronization Settings .

Note: If the user does not host their own mail server, the latest Microsoft Exchange Server version must be on the list.

The default value for this System Variable is 0 - Exchange 2003.

It may be necessary to perform a refresh when modifying System Variable values.
