Add New Time Entry Approver Roles

Use Time Entry Approval in the Company Approvals submodule in the Settings module to add new time entry approver roles.

To use Time Entry Approval you must have access to Settings as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To add a new time entry approver role:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one Company in your WorkBook system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings page to select the Company to which you want to add a new time entry approver role.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings page, click Company Approvals > Time Entry Approval.
  4. On the grid toolbar, click Add Role .
  5. In the Add Role dialog box, use the drop-down list to select the role to which you want to add as a time entry approver and click OK.
  6. To edit the Priority, Trigger Amount, Employee, Limit to Job, Limit to Client, and Limit to Billable Jobs fields, double-click on the corresponding field.
    Note: You cannot edit the Trigger Amount, Employee, and Limit to Job fields for all time entry approver roles.
