Company Variable 32: Always Blank VAT Codex in General Journals

Use this Company Variable to determine if the VAT Codex should always be blank in General Journals.

The VAT Codex refers to the two VAT code combination fields, AR/AP VAT and Activity VAT. Combined, these fields are responsible in calculating for VAT. In most instances, it is not appropriate to record VAT in a manual journal. When this Company Variable is enabled, VAT codes are disabled or blank in general journals, which help eliminate mistakes.

It may be necessary to perform a refresh when modifying Company Variable values.
