You can display a journal card from the Posting Search submodule under General Ledger. The journal card in the posting Search submodule is the same journal card that you can display from the List tab of the Journals submodule.
To perform this procedure, you must have access to
Finance & Administration as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under
Settings.
To display a journal card from Posting Search:

On the main toolbar, click Finance & Administration
.

In the left pane of the Finance & Administration screen, click

If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list
above the left pane to select the company that owns the journal that you are looking for.

In the top-right corner of the grid, click
Posting search
.

Use the fields and options in the Filter dialog box to specify the search criteria. For example, you can search for journals that were posted within a specific period for a specific client.

Click
Search.
WorkBook displays the journals that meet the search criteria in the grid.

To narrow down the results of your search, enter a search string in the
Search field in the top-left corner of the grid. For example, you can enter an account description in the
Search field to narrow down the results returned by the Filter dialog box so that it displays only the journals that were posted to a specific ledger account.

Position your mouse pointer over an entry in the
Journal no. column, and click
Open journal card
.
WorkBook displays the card for the selected journal.
