Agent Type 83 - Ticket Import from Mail

Use Agent Type 83 - Ticket Import from Mail to create tickets on jobs based on imported emails from a specific mailbox. Agent Type 83 monitors the mailbox that you specify on the Parameters tab and creates a ticket based on the email subject, body, and attachments. This agent uses the email subject as the ticket name, the email body as the briefing, and the resource that matches the email address as the ticket author. After the agent has determined the ticket author, WorkBook checks the default ticket support job setup for the client that is associated with the ticket author and creates the ticket under that job. If WorkBook cannot find a match for the email address, the agent cannot create the ticket.

Parameters

Field Description
Workbook Web Address The URL of your WorkBook site.
User Login for the Storage Service The user name that is required to log in to the storage service.
Password for the Storage Service The password that is required to log into the storage service.
Mail Server Address (IMAP) The web address of your mail server.
Mail Server Username The user name that is required to log in to the mailbox.
Mail Server Password The password that is required to log in to the mailbox.
Mail Server Folder The mailbox folder from which the agent imports tickets.
Send Ticket Creation Email Select this parameter to enable WorkBook to send an email every time that the agent creates a ticket.
Assign Tcket to Team (Team ID) Use this parameter to assign the ticket to a specific team.
Assign Ticket to Resource (Resource ID) Use this parameter to assign the ticket to a specific resource.
Mailbox Handling Mode Use this parameter to specify what the mailbox does with the email when the ticket is created.
Set Ticket Type Use this parameter to specify the default ticket type.
Set Ticket Category Use this parameter to specify the default ticket category.
