Edit Access Roles

Use User Access Rights in the Advanced Tools submodule in the Settings module to edit access roles.

To use User Access Rights in the Advanced Tools submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To edit an access role:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one Company in your WorkBook system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings page to select the Company that contains the access role that you want to edit.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings page, click Advanced Tools > User Access Rights.
  4. Click the User Access Setup tab.
  5. Use the drop-down list to select the access role that you want to edit and click Edit Access Role .
  6. In the Edit Access Role dialog box, you can edit the name of the access role, automatically grant access to new pages, or identify the access role as API-Only.
  7. After you make the necessary changes, click OK.
