System Variable 479: Default Currency Format for New Users

Use this System Variable to specify the default currency format for new users.

Note: This System Variable is no longer used to specify the default currency format for new users.

System Variable 479 is used to specify the default numbering format that WorkBook uses on automated comments where a user's own formatting settings might not be applicable. For example, you could use this default formatting in the automated comments that are attached to inter-company expenses.

The options are:

• 1 - Thousand delimitor = point/Decimal delimitor = comma
• 2 - Thousand delimitor = point/Decimal delimitor = point
• 3 - Thousand delimitor = space/Decimal delimitor = comma
• 4 - Thousand delimitor = space/Decimal delimitor = point
• 5 - Thousand delimitor = space/Decimal delimitor = space

The default value for this setting is 1 - Thousand delimitor = point/Decimal delimitor = comma.

It may be necessary to perform a refresh when modifying System Variable values.
