Journal Types
Use Journal Types under Settings to configure journal types and make it easier when entering items such as payroll and depreciation. You can create, remove, and edit journal types and edit journal type mapping options. You can also enable WorkBook to automatically create journal entries.
To use the Journal Types submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.
The submodule consists of the following tabs:
- Journal Types: On this tab, you can create, remove, and edit journal types. You can also enable the automatic creation of journal entries.
- Journal Types Mapping: On this tab, you can setup different system journals that can be used for transactions such as residual postings, automatic payments, and sales invoices.
