Display Job Conversations According to Groupings

Use the Job settings option under the Monthly WIP adjustments follow-up submodule to display job conversations according to grouping.

To use Monthly WIP Adjustments Follow-Up in the Month-End submodule, you must have access to Finance & Administration as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To display job conversations according to grouping:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Finance & Administration .
  2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Finance & Administration screen to select the company containing the job conversations that you want to display according to grouping.
  3. In the left pane of the Finance & Administration screen, click Month-end > Monthly WIP adjustments follow-up.
  4. Highlight the job of the conversations that you want to display according to grouping and on the grid toolbar, click Job settings .
  5. Click the Chat tab and on the toolbar of the left pane, use the drop-down list to select the applicable category of the conversations that you want to display according to grouping.
  6. Click and select Grouping.
  7. Select any of the following:
    • Date: This grouping arranges conversations according to date.
    • Name: This grouping arranges conversations according to the name of the person who last published a comment on the thread.
    • Type: This grouping arranges conversations according to type.
    • Period: This grouping arranges conversations according to financial period.
    • None: This removes all prior groupings.
