Company Variable 44: Default Booking Method When Creating New Schedules on Jobs
Use this Company Variable to select the default booking method for new job schedules.
Your options are:
- Use First Available Capacity - WorkBook uses the resource's first available capacity within the ideal booking scenario suggested by the system. For example, if the ideal booking is 6 hours on all employees and you are booking an employee for 10 hours on a three-day task, WorkBook books that employee for 6 hours on the first day and for 4 hours on the next day, assuming that the employee has no other bookings.
- Even Distribution of Hours - WorkBook distributes the number of hours evenly throughout the duration of the task. For example, if you are booking an employee for 10 hours on a three-day task, WorkBook divides 10 hours by 3 days, resulting in 3.5 booked hours per day.
