Add New Detail Lines to Purchase Orders

Use the Purchase Order submodule to add new detail lines to purchase orders of selected jobs.

To use Purchase Order, you must have access to Jobs as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To add a new detail line to a purchase order:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Jobs .
  2. In the left pane, click Jobs List and highlight the job with the purchase order that you want to add a new detail line to.
  3. In the left pane, click Purchase Order.
  4. On the grid toolbar, use the drop-down list to select the Purchase Order that you want to add a new detail line to.
    Alternatively, click Open Purchase Order List and in the Purchase Order List dialog box, highlight the Purchase Order that you want to add a new detail line to.
    Note: You can only add detail lines to a purchase order that has not yet been approved, cancelled, or locked for changes.
  5. Click the Details tab.
  6. Click Add new detail .
  7. You can edit the different fields by double-clicking on the corresponding field.
