Create Residual Cost Codes

Use Residual Cost Codes in the Finance submodule in the Settings module to create residual cost codes.

To use Residual Cost Codes in the Finance submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To create a residual cost code:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one Company in your WorkBook system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings page to select the Company for which you want to create a residual cost code.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings page, click Finance > Residual Cost Codes.
  4. On the grid toolbar, click Create New Cost Code .
  5. In the dialog box, use the drop-down list to select the cost account for which you want to create a residual cost code and click OK.
  6. To edit fields, double-click them.
