System Variable 768: Automatically Block Mileage Entry on Finalized Jobs (Status 4 and 5)
Use System Variable 768: Automatically Block Mileage Entry on Finalized Jobs (Status 4 and 5) to specify the number of days when users can still enter mileage entries after jobs have been finalized. For example, if you enter 5 in this System Variable, users can still enter mileage entries for a period of five days after those jobs were finalized.
When a job is closed, WorkBook automatically blocks further expenses from being submitted on the closed job. System Variable 768 enables users to enter mileage entries on closed jobs for a specific period, if necessary.
To enable users to enter mileage entries on jobs, you must select Allow Mileage Entry on the Job Finance Settings tab of the Job Properties sidebar in . The end date for a job is defined on the Basic Job Settings tab of the Job Properties sidebar.
