System Variable 836: Unsubscribe Rules on Conversations

Use this System Variable to set the unsubscribe rules in conversations.

Depending on your selection, the options will allow users to have more or less control over unsubscribing themselves and/or other users from conversations.

You can select one of the following options for this setting:

• 1 - Users can only unsubscribe themselves.
• 2 - Users can unsubscribe others who have not yet posted a comment.
• 3 - Users can unsubscribe others only if they themselves are the content creator.
• 4 - Users can unsubscribe others who have not yet posted a comment and the conversation creator can unsubscribe anyone.
• 5 - Users can unsubscribe everyone.

Note: Users can always unsubscribe themselves.

The default value is 4 - Users can unsubscribe others who have not yet posted a comment and the conversation creator can unsubscribe anyone.
