Move Tasks in Job Conversations to another Job

Use the Job settings option under the Monthly WIP adjustments follow-up submodule to move tasks in job conversations to another job.

To use Monthly WIP Adjustments Follow-Up in the Month-End submodule, you must have access to Finance & Administration as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

To move a task in a job conversation to another job:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Finance & Administration .
  2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Finance & Administration screen to select the company containing the job conversation of the task that you want to move to another job.
  3. In the left pane of the Finance & Administration screen, click Month-end > Monthly WIP adjustments follow-up.
  4. Highlight the job of the conversation with the task that you want to move to another job and on the grid toolbar, click Job settings .
  5. Click the Chat tab and on the toolbar of the left pane, select Task from the category drop-down list.
  6. Highlight the conversation with the task that you want to move to another job.
  7. In the right pane, click Open the context menu for task card and select Move to another job.
  8. In the Move task to job dialog box, use the corresponding drop-down lists to select the job, schedule, and phase that you want to transfer the task to.
  9. To allow moving the task between an active and non-active schedule or to duplicate the current phase to the target job, select the applicable check box.
  10. Click OK.
