Opportunity Numbering

Opportunity numbers identify potential projects that your firm is interested in pursuing.

An opportunity record stores information, including names, addresses, phone numbers, related activities and files, current opportunity status, opportunity team members, project codes, and opportunity contacts.

You enter opportunities in the Opportunity Info Center. An opportunity number is not required in the Opportunity Info Center.

Numbering Format

You cannot change Vision's firm-wide default opportunity number structure, which is a maximum of 20 characters.
