Click this option to save entries to the current timesheet.

Open
|
Click this option to open the Timesheet Period Selection dialog box, where you can select a timesheet for a different labor period.

Submit
|
Click this option to submit the current timesheet for processing.

Approve
|
Click this option to approve the current timesheet. This option is available under the following conditions:
- You have Group, Company, or System access to the Timesheet application.
- You have approval rights for the selected timesheet.
- Your system administrator selects
Require timesheets to be approved before posting on the Setup tab of Company Timesheet Configuration.

Employees
|
This option displays on the toolbar only if you have Group, Company, or System access to the Timesheet application. Click this drop-down menu to select one of the following:
- Click
Select Company to select an employee timesheet in a different company. This option is only available if your firm uses the Multicompany feature.
- Click
Select Employees to open the Select Employee Timesheet dialog box and select a different timesheet (or timesheets) to open and/or approve.
- Click
Floor Check to open the Floor Check dialog box and review the status of time entry for your employees for a timesheet period or for a specific day.

Billing Transfer Audit
|
Click this option to open the Billing Transfer Audit dialog box, where you can review and acknowledge billing labor transfers.
|
Copy
|
Click this option to re-use information on your timesheet.
If you are using Vision Resource Planning,
Copy displays as a drop-down button with two options:
- Click
From Prior Timesheet to open the Timesheet Period Selection dialog box, where you can copy timesheet data from an existing timesheet to the current timesheet.
- Click
From Planning to copy an employee's assigned projects, phases, tasks, and labor codes (for the selected timesheet period) from the Resource Planning application.
If you are not using Vision Resource Planning,
Copy displays on the toolbar with no drop-down options. Click
Copy to open the Timesheet Period Selection dialog box, where you can copy timesheet data from an existing timesheet to the current timesheet.
Note the following:
- When you copy a timesheet, Vision copies all timesheet lines that are associated with active projects. This includes active special categories, project/phase/task/labor code/billing category combinations, and comments from the selected timesheet. Vision does not copy regular or overtime hours.
- To copy a project/phase/task/labor code/billing category value from one row on a timesheet to a new row on the timesheet, click
Copy at the upper right of the Timesheet grid.

Show
|
Click this option to display additional information on the timesheet. After you click this option, select one of the following:
- Click
Ratios to view timesheet ratios for the labor charges on the current timesheet. Depending on the configuration options selected by your system administrator, Vision displays up to five ratios. Each of the ratios compares an employee's direct (billable) hours with other types of hours, such as standard hours and benefit hours.
- Click
Benefit Hours to view information about the employee's benefit hour accruals.
- Click
Planned Hours to view information about the employee's assigned projects and hours, as entered in Vision Resource Planning. This option displays only if your firm uses Resource Planning.
- Click
Revision Audit to view information about timesheet revisions. This includes the date, the number of revisions that have been made to the timesheet, the changes that were made to each field, and a brief explanation for each revision. Depending on the configuration options selected by your system administrator, you, or the person who approves your timesheet, may be able to perform revisions.

Print
|
Click this option to display or print a report of timesheet information. After you click this option, select one of the following:
- Click
Print Detailed Report to see the timesheet entries for a single employee and labor period. The report includes all information entered on the employee's timesheet.
- Click
Print Summarized Report to see a summarized view of timesheet entries for a single employee and labor period. This report is a more compact version of the Detailed Timesheet report, without work breakdown structure names or timesheet comments.
- Click
Page Break by Project if you want timesheet data for each project to print on a separate page. This setting remains in effect until you select it again to clear it.
- Click
Include Revision Audit Report to include revision audit information at the end of the Detailed Timesheet report or Summarized Timesheet report. This option is only available if revision auditing is enabled for the employee. This setting remains in effect until you select it again to clear it.
If your firm uses the Deltek First Vision Essentials cloud version of Vision, printing the timesheet will open the Preview window. Use the options in the Preview window to continue printing.

Option
|
Click this option to control whether or not a timesheet report prints automatically when you submit a timesheet. Select one of the following:

Print Detailed Timesheet Report when submitted — Vision automatically prints a Detailed Timesheet Report when you submit your timesheet.

Print Summarized Timesheet Report when submitted — Vision automatically prints a Summarized Timesheet Report when you submit your timesheet.
-
Do Not Print — Vision does not print your timesheet when you submit it.
The
Include Revision Audit Report option on the
Print
menu controls whether or not revision audit information is included on the reports when they are generated automatically.
If your firm uses the Deltek First Vision Essentials cloud version of Vision, printing the timesheet will open the Preview window. Use the options in the Preview window to continue printing.
