Create a Kona Space for a Project When You Create the Project

When you create a project from an existing project, a project template, or an opportunity, Vision can also create a space for the project in Kona Business.

Prerequisites: Vision must be configured to integrate with Kona Business on the Miscellaneous tab of the General System Settings form, and you must be logged on to Kona on the Misc tab on the User Options dialog box.

To create a Kona space for a new project when you create the project, complete the following steps:

1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Info Center > Projects.
2. Click New and select Create Project from.
3. On the Create Project from dialog box, select Create Kona Space. Exception: If you are creating the project from an opportunity, the opportunity is linked to a Kona space, and you want the project to be linked to that space, do not select Create Kona Space. Vision then links the project to that existing space rather than create a new space.
4. Complete the remaining fields on the Create Project from dialog box, and click OK. Vision closes the Create Project from dialog box and opens a new project record. The Kona space name displays in the Kona Space field on the General tab, and the space displays below that field. Employees listed on the Team tab are automatically invited to join the space.
