Use the Projects Tab to enter data for the Projects page of an SF255 proposal.

Enter data manually in block 8 a - e, or click
,
Add Projects and select
projects from the
Projects lookup. For each
project you add through,
Add Projects,
Vision enters data from the
ProjectInfo Center.
Click
in block 8 for these additional options:

Delete Projects — Display a list of the
projects that are currently in block 8 and delete the ones you do not want.

Reorder Projects — Display a list of the
projects that are currently in block 8. To reorder them, click a
project name, then click
Up or
Down.

Select Graphics — If graphics files are connected to a
project record on the Files tab of the
Project Info Center, you can use the Select Graphics option to enter the graphic file into block 8.

Add Project Descriptions — Display a list of the types of
project descriptions available (Brief Description, Detailed Description, and so on) and choose those that you want to include in block 8.

a. Project Name & Location

For each
project you add through

Vision enters data from the
Project Name field on the General tab of the
Project Info Center.
You can also enter this data manually.

b. Nature of Firm's Responsibility

Vision enters data from the
for the Description Category selected on the 255 Preferences form.
You can also enter this data manually.

c. Project Owner's Name & Address
|
For each
project you add through
,
Add Projects in block 8,
Vision enters the name and address for the client identified as Owner on the
Clients/Contacts tab of the
Project Info Center.
Vision also lists the name and phone number of the contact identified as Owner Contact on the
Clients/Contacts tab of the
Project Info Center.
If the Owner is listed as the
Primary Client on the General Tab of the
Project Info Center, and is marked
Confidential Client, this field is blank.

d. Completion Date
|
For each
project you add through
,
Add Projects in block 8,
Vision enters data from the
Actual Completion field on the Dates & Costs tab of the
Project Info Center. It enters data from
Estimated Completion if
Actual Completion is empty.
If the
Completion Date Comment field has data, it is shown below the completion date. If both
Estimated Completion and
Actual Completion are empty, and
Completion Date Comment has data,
Vision uses the
Completion Date Comment.
You must enter this data if
Vision does not enter it.

e. Estimated Cost
|
For each
project you add through
,
Add Projects in block 8,
Vision enters data from the
Total Project Cost and
Firm Cost in the Dates & Costs tab of the
Project Info Center.
You must enter this data if
Add Projects does not enter it.
