Spread Costs Proportionally
You can spread costs proportionally over the selected period. This feature takes into account the original costs in the period, and then spreads hours based on that proportion.
To spread costs proportionally, complete the following steps:
- From the Vision Navigation menu, click .
- Open a plan record.
- Click the Labor, Expenses, or Consultants tab.
- Select the date on which you will begin to spread costs. On the Planning grid, right-click a Compensation Cost, Consultant Cost, or Reimbursable Cost cell.

Spread Proportionally.
The Spread Proportionally dialog box displays. The From: field in the Period Range automatically displays the date on which you will begin to spread costs.
- Use the drop-down list in the To: field to select the date on which to stop spreading costs.
- Enter the amount to be spread and click OK.
