Vendor Numbering

Vendor numbers identify the people and businesses from whom your company acquires the materials and services needed to complete your projects.

If you use vendors with the Client Relationship Management (CRM) and Proposals application, a vendor record may be used to represent someone who does work for you, such as a contractor or consultant.

Numbering Format

Vendor numbers can be up to 20 characters long, including one user-defined delimiter, such as a period. The minimum length is one character.
