Use this tab to map and select the fields to import from ABRA into Vision when you run the Import from ABRA process.
The data types in the
Deltek Vision Field(s) fields on the Import Utility Fields Mapping tab exist in the Vision EM (Employee) table. Each data type should have a coordinating data type that you enter, when necessary, in the appropriate
Expression field.

Vision Field(s)
|
These fields correspond to the employee fields in Vision. It is to these fields that you map the required ABRA fields (as defined in the
Expression fields).
|
Description
|
These fields include descriptions of the field codes listed in the
Deltek Vision Field(s) and
Expression fields.
|
Expression
|
The
Expression fields are the ABRA employee fields to be mapped to the Vision employee fields located in the
Vision Field(s) column.
Vision imports only those ABRA fields that are marked as
Include and that do not have a blank
Expression field. If, for example, you enter
P_EMPNO in the
Expression field that is aligned with the
Employee field in the Vision column and select
Include, the import utility imports the ABRA field into Vision. If you leave this
Expression field blank, the utility does not import the ABRA field into Vision, regardless of whether
Include is selected.
Use the drop-down menu to change default mappings or to select a new mapping. If you try to change a mapping for a primary key field, the utility displays an error message indicating that you cannot make the change.
