Revenue Generation Reporting Overview

Use Revenue Generation reports to view all of the revenue methods that are defined in your Vision database and the data from Revenue Generation transactions.

In addition, you can generate reports from other parts of Vision that show data related to Revenue Generation. For example:

  • You can verify the revenue generated from many of Vision's revenue method fields by generating and examining the Office Earnings report.

  • You can find solutions to unbilled file reconciliation issues by examining the data on the File Reconciliation Report.

    The Revenue Generation file of journal entry transactions (the "RevGen file") is generated when you run Revenue Generation. For each project that you specified for the processing run, the file shows the amount of accrued revenue.
  • Procedures
    In addition to the revenue generation posting log and transaction list, you can print a report that lists revenue methods.
