Enter Timesheet Hours
You can enter labor hours at any time before you submit your timesheet.
To enter timesheet hours, complete the following steps:
- Open the timesheet.
- If there are any special categories on your Timesheet form, enter your hours for these categories in the Day/Date, Regular, Ovt, and Ovt-2 fields.
- To enter all other hours, click the last row on the Timesheet grid or click Insert on the Timesheet grid to insert a blank row beneath the currently selected row.
- Enter values in the Project, Phase, Task, Labor Code, and Billing Category fields on the blank row. These fields are disabled if Timesheet Audits are enabled and revision tracking has started on the timesheet.
- Click the Day/Date field that corresponds to the day for which you are charging time to this project/phase/task/labor code/labor category combination.

Enter your hours.

Enter regular hours in the Day/Date field, or enter them in the Regular field at the lower right of the Timesheet form. When you click the Day/Date field in the Timesheet grid, the selected day and date display directly above the Regular, Ovt, and Ovt-2 fields at the lower right of the Timesheet form. Be sure that you select the correct date before you enter hours in these fields.
If displays in the Day/Date field, you are required to enter starting and ending times for hours worked.

Enter overtime hours in the Ovt field at the lower right of the Timesheet form.

Enter secondary overtime hours in the Ovt-2 field at the lower right of the Timesheet form.

To delete a row of data, click the row that you want to delete, then click Delete. However, if Timesheet Audits are enabled and revision tracking has started on the timesheet, clicking Delete will zero out the hours in the timesheet row but will not remove the row.

- Optional. Enter text in the Comment field, or click the drop-down list to select a comment.
- Optional. Enter meal start and end times and record breaks taken.
- Enter as many rows of timesheet detail as you need and then click Save.
