After you open a labor adjustments transaction file, the fields that display in the header fields at the top of the form apply to the entire transaction. The grid fields represent individual transaction line items.
Header Fields

Employee

Select the name of the employee related to this labor adjustment.

Status
|
This field displays the current status of the transaction file.
|
Approved By
|
If the transaction file has been Approved, then this field displays the approver.

Grid Fields
Field | Description |
Date
|
Enter the date for this transaction. Click the calendar icon to use the calendar lookup and select the appropriate date.

Project
|
This field displays the project identifier.
|
Phase
|
This field displays the phase identifier.
|
Task
|
This field displays the task identifier.
|
Labor Code
|
Enter the labor code associated with the hours entered.
|
Labor Category
|
Use this drop-down list to select a labor category for the employee.
|
Reg Hrs
|
Enter the total number of regular hours. In Labor Adjustment transaction entry and Timesheet transaction entry, you do not charge hours to an account. All postings are automatic.

Ovt Hrs
|
Enter the total number of overtime hours. In Labor Adjustment transaction entry and Timesheet transaction entry, you do not charge hours to an account. All postings are automatic.

Ovt 2 Hrs
|
Enter the total number of secondary overtime hours reported for the W-2 year and quarter. In Labor Adjustment transaction entry and Timesheet transaction entry, you do not charge hours to an account. All postings are automatic.

Reg Amt
|
Enter the total regular monetary amount of the adjustment.
|
Ovt Amt
|
This field allows you to adjust the overtime amount posted to the cost rate for the labor item.

Ovt 2 Amt
|
This field allows you to adjust the second overtime amount posted to the cost rate for the labor item.
|
Billing Amt
|
Enter the total billing monetary amount of the adjustment.
|
Realization Amt
|
Enter the monetary amount of realization for an employee.
If you use the Multicurrency feature, the realization amount uses the project's billing currency.

Comment
|
Enter any comments about the labor adjustment.
Click
Edit to use the Text Editor to enter comments.
|
Suppress Bill
|
Select this option to suppress billing on an expense. The amount on each detail line is costed to the general ledger only (and does not become a billable transaction). If you select this option, the expense does not flow through to the Billing application.
