Form 1099 Advanced Printing Options Dialog Box

Use the Form 1099 Advanced Printing Options dialog box to adjust layout and print margins if your 1099s do not align properly when printed. If you do not have alignment problems, use the default layout.

Location

To display the dialog box, complete the following steps:

1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Accounting > Accounts Payable > Form 1099 Processing.
2. On the Form 1099 Processing toolbar, click Print and then click Advanced Printing.

Field	Description
Unit of Measure	From the drop-down list, select the unit of measure (inches or millimeters) to use for the margin fields on this dialog box (1 inch = 25.4 millimeter.) When you switch from one unit of measure to the other, the measurements that are currently entered or displayed in the measurement fields are automatically converted to the new unit of measure.
Report Layout	Select the layout for the 1099 form. The options are: Use Default Layout — Select this option to use the usual layout for your firm. Most firms require the default layout. Use Custom Layout — Select this option to align the 1099s to print correctly on your firm's paper forms if they are not already aligned correctly. When you select this option, the margin fields on this dialog box are enabled.
Margins	When you select the Use Custom Layout option, the margin fields are enabled. Enter the margins in inches or millimeters, based on your entry in the Unit of Measure field.
