Delete a Transaction File

You can delete a transaction file. You cannot undo the deletion. If you delete a transaction file in error, you must re-enter the transaction file.

To delete a transaction file, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Transaction Center > Transaction Entry.
  2. In the Transaction Type field on the Transaction Entry form, select the type of transaction.

    The transaction type list is filtered based on your security role's access rights. If you use Vision Multicompany, this list is further refined based on the active company. See the Accounting tab of Role Security (Configuration > Security > Roles) for more information.

  3. Click the transaction file to select it.
  4. On the toolbar, click Delete.

    Vision asks you to confirm the deletion.

  5. Click Yes to delete the transaction file.
